The Best Breckenridge Bar Hopping

If you have spent anytime in Breckenridge before you know that it is a young and fun ski town. When you need a break from the slopes or even a day off the slopes, there is plenty to enjoy in Breckenridge. A lot of permanent Colorado residents spend time in Breckenridge to enjoy the bars, food and company. If you are looking for a good time next time you visit Breckenridge, here are some of the best bars that you can visit!

The Canteen

This old Breckenridge chair lift haul cable at this historic remodeled Main Street tap house is one of the most popular spots in Breckenridge. Suck lungfuls of house-smoked barbecue waft, take in the cabin vibe and peruse their comfort menu. The Canteen Ahhh Rita is one of the best margaritas in town. It comes ice-cold in a metal canteen. Their patio is superb for catching Rocky Mountain sunsets. If you are planning a bar hop with your family and friends, this is a great place to start!

Motherloaded Tavern

This is a great place to be if you and your friends are looking for a lively good time. The tavern is lined with license plates and funny signs on the walls and is accompanied by live music on Friday and Saturday nights. You can enjoy the front of the bar or head to the back for a more hipster vibe at the Julius Caesar lounge.

The Dredge

An icon in the Breckenridge community, this two-million-pound floating restaurant is a replica of one of Summit’s largest mining dredge boats. While families are able to enjoy a dining room with sit down dishes such as pasta and steak, younger folks can enjoy a bar scene with foosball, pool and other bar games upstairs.
